Create minimalist photo blog/portfolio website using Wordpress

I need help with setting up photography blog and portfolio website using Wordpress. WP is already installed on the hosting server. Design should be minimalist, website identity should be defined by selecting font type, style and size and simple background colors. Following features are needed: - Main menu with drop-down sub-options, each menu item leads to static page - Secondary menu for blog categories, only on blog page - Photo gallery style pages (the simpler the better) - Blog entries will be photographs with little or no text - No commenting on the blog - Home page is the blog page - The website should appear correct on different screen sizes - The website should appear correct on mobile devices - I have to be able to add menu items, new pages and galleries easily - Permalinks with post name Any suggestion will be considered, even if it bears additional cost.
