Hello, I have more then 10 years of programming experience and I have made a shell script which measures Internet bandwidth usage of network nodes. I don't have experience with satelite modems, is a manual available for your device? How are settings of your modem done? Is it via web applicaton as for usual modems/routers? And what exactly options do you need to set? Does your modem have an option in its application to measure signal strength? What kinds of alerts do you need to detect and how do you detect them? What kinds of actions do you need to perform in response to this alerts? What kind of application do you need? Do you want it to be desktop application, do you need GUI, or do you want web application so it can be used from multiple computers without need to install the application on each computer?
