I have already created grid systems due to creating scrabble style games for Android and WebGL using Unity. This is something I can fairly easily translate over to your project. I would need a full list of the rules as every board game has small nuances different to other board games for example Uckers and Ludo. I have estimated 30 days but it is likely that it would take less.
