Alloy Wheels Direct ltd sell new and used alloy wheels in UK.
The existing website [[login to view URL]][1] does not have good CSS, is bad for branding and navigation, and the design is lazy
I am looking for an expert in css/xhtml strict that can build a design with w3c css and xhtml 1.0 validity. NO php/mysql programming required.
1. CSS/xhtml design of main pageframe with navigational buttons
2. Design of border for various site images
3. eBay listing template/shop header image
4. html email signature
5. newsletter email frame
6. product order email frame
7. small animated gifs for a bit of movement
8. design for hi-res wheel image popup page/options popup page
9. Horizontal/vertical separator image
10. Co-operation with php coder and small changes as necessary to implement the design
I would welcome other design suggestions, or suggestions to improve branding/navigation/usability of the site.
Please don’t reply with just a standard response. It would be better to give links demonstrating skill in the area of work that I am requesting, with some comments that show an understanding of my needs. Your suggestions are also most welcome!
## Deliverables
Design requirements: clean and simple, but still give an image that is accurate/technical/dynamic. We sell fast, strong, desirable products and the design should reflect this. Keep as low file sizes as possible in the images.
Please see the attached zip file for a screenshot of an existing product page, and a sitemap of the new site structure
There is a logo being designed at the moment on RAC under another bid request, with completion date 29/09. This should be incorporated into the final design.
I hope to work with the chosen designer on at least 2 other projects ??" another similarly specified design for a furniture e-commerce site, plus a site for a racing driver.

Sites I like and reasons:
[[login to view URL]][2] dimensions are good
<[login to view URL]> nice text links at the top and balance <[login to view URL]> - the quick start guide is great
Css elements like this: <[login to view URL]://[login to view URL]>
**
**1. CSS design of main pageframe with navigational buttons. CSS must be used to the fullest extent as with [[login to view URL]][2] . A working page leaving the main central cell empty is required. The navigational buttons linking to the page itself. The navigational section sizes and the justification should be the same as used on [[login to view URL]][2] Must use text based navigation with background images - NOT image based (gif) navigation, although a couple of gif images will be allowed in the interests of the design. Left nav plus central cell must be 800px wide, as window expands it reveals right nav. ‘quickstart’ flow chart graphic to be made for the index page to show users that they have to click on mercedes or bmw, then select their car model, then browse through wheels and add accessories, then call or place order.
2. Design of border for various site images. Depending on the design made, a border for images within the site may be supplied for use with other images on supplementary pages
3. eBay listing template/shop header image. Shop header dimensions as per current image. Note that the background image for ebay advert starts at the top of the entire page, not just the editable html region
4. html email signature ??" html code using text and images to use as the signature in html emails
5. newsletter email frame.
6. html code for a site-sent email with the details (images and text) of a customer order, which would incorporate the details contained in a product page. A non-css html code which presents all the information for a certain product which is sent to the customer when they enquire about a product
7. small animated gifs for a bit of movement ??" eg. small rotating wheels used as bullet points - your suggestions welcome
8. design for hi-res wheel image popup page/options popup page ??" see links above for current pages
9. Other pages eg accessories may require a horizontal or vertical line. A simple gif is required suitable to use as a separator for the different sections within a page
10. Co-operation with php coder and small changes as necessary to implement the design
11. Platform compatibility ??" IE5-7, Firefox. Opera, Safari
12. Where applicable, the original unflattened eps or layered images are required to be supplied
13. Our unique selling points ??" see the graphic in this section. Use these where necessary in the design
14. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Dear All bidders.
I have decided to reduce the scope of the project and focus on the css/xhtml and web design (removing the logo and print design elements).
I have ADDED the need for an ebay listing template, and REDUCED the time to 21 days.
Thank you for your interest and I look forward to working with one of you next week.
Chris
