$500-5000 USD
Paid on delivery
This is a serious project and we'll pay well. We need someone to develop a KaZaA/Limewire-like application written in Java harnassing the power of BitTorrent.
UPDATE: We would also like gIFT to be built into the client, with the FastTrack portion turned off. More Info: [login to view URL]
The search function will be powered by an in-house server system already in use by a torrent search site that we run. The client will connect to our servers and receive results from our network. The data will be transferred back and forth from our server-farm via HTTP.
Overall, the program should be a stripped-down replica of Azureus (minus the built-in tracker) with a search function built-in and user friendly interface. It will also have a welcome page (integrated web browser minus the address bar) and a 468x60 pixel advertising block (also a borderless web browser... if it's possible to do so) that is well fitted into the UI.

We will design the user interface and provide a mock-up to the coder as soon as possible.
All graphics will be provided for implementation as soon as possible.
