We are looking for a web developer who specialises in working with WordPress. You will be required to solve difficult WordPress theme or plugin problems. There are several projects I need you to assist with right now. But I am looking for someone interested in moving to a full time role in October. We will be working with Ryan, our other developer based in Davao, Philippines. It is preferable if you speak Visayan or Tagalog. We are hoping to find someone who is interested in working with us long term. The ideal candidate will have an interest in helping us grow the business. Key responsibilities & duties Modifying WordPress websites (content), themes and/or plugins Updating WordPress (core), themes and plugins. Creating both simple and complex websites based on the Genesis Theme framework Other ad-hoc jobs to help market, grow or manage the business. Ideal Candidate - Can demonstrate continued self learning and education in web development - Wants to provide feedback and ideas to improve the business - Strong written and spoken English skills - Very strong technical skills including PHP, WordPress, HTML 5, CSS 3 - A logical person who can solve problems - Has experiences with the Genesis theme framework (preferred) - Has experience developing or customizing plugins - Has experience developing WordPress themes (not just customizing themes) - Can create customized posts and pages - Has experience with WordPress eCommerce solutions - Strong WordPress skills (example topics [login to view URL])
