I need someone who can think out the architecture for online software that I need to get built. You must be able to draft the design and functionality of the software, based on lots of chatting and communications with me, and suggest the software that will best suit the construction of the online tool.
This project is no more than 15 hours of solid work, please bid according to 15 hours work. I need to see samples of your past architecture.
Essentially, the business provides market analysis services via a report. We get about 20 different pieces of data, and we generate tables and charts from this data. There are about 30 different tables and 30 different charts in a report. They are not complicated, basic column charts, bar charts, all currently done in EXCEL. Data is counted in excel automatically using the COUNTIFS function.
The size of the tables and charts depends on the number of competitors we are tracking in the research. If we track say 10 competitors, all the tables will have 10 columns, and all the charts will have 10 columns. The software that we need built will automatically create the report, the graphs and the tables, according to the number of competitors we are tracking in a particular industry. There is also written commentary in the reports that explains the results, this needs to be automated using sentence formulas. There are about 20 different sections of the report that required a paragraph or so of automated report commentary. The headings in the report need to be automatically numbered, the table of contents autopopulated, and data in the executive summary also autopopulated.
From the back end perspective, I need the ability to have a staff intranet where they log in to conduct the data analysis. I want to be able to allocate jobs to different staff, review their work, and automate some of the data functions, based on simple rules. Also, the data will be present on one side of the screen, and the form fields on the other, so the analyst can refer to the data as they need it.
The report needs to be automated as much as possible. Currently, I have an excel file linked to a word document and I use the auto update feature. But if I have to start a new industry, I have to redo all the graphs. The software will automatically do that for me, and allow me to tailor reports to different industries / preferences.
