Hi.
I am a developer too and found lots of sample codes of using the iphone accelerometer on the web but could not a function that provides use as a G-Meter.
If you have already used the iphone accelerometer you know that it provides you numbers when it is completely freeze. That's because it's measuring the gravity that is acting on it, and a G-Meter suppose the iphone is freeze, will indicate the middle, or the ZERO point.
Suppose the cel phone got shaken, then the G-Meter will show the forces that accted and than get back to zero.
Did u got the difference?
Tht G-Meter only indicates the forces that accted on the phone but the accelerometer keeps showing "Gravity" even when it is freezed.

near "I went to expert Nate..." you can get more detailed info.
First i thought in subtracting the phone accelerometer's weight but if you think in turning it upside down it will mess everything.
Do you have a solution for this? Or is the iphone ready for it and you gonna only name me the function?
All i need is a G-Meter function!
