Affiliate ecommerce, like [url removed, login to view] and zazzle.com. Based on open source solutions: Oscommerce, Zencart or Magento.
Each registered affiliate receives a subdomain where to sell products from our catalogue (physical and digital products). Multi Language/ Currency Support.
Front End:
1. Subdomains for each affiliate, with different products specified by affiliates.
2. Front end has one XML or XHTML template which affiliates will change in control panel. All frontends are in XML or XHTML. Subdomain control use affiliate's stylesheet. Like CREX for OsCommerce: [url removed, login to view]
3. Shopping cart cannot store session information.
Affiliate Area:
1. Sales Report: Product, Quantity, Total Value, Value of Commissions
2. Select products for subdomain from predefined catalogue. Mark 10 products as ‘featured offers'
3. Update stylesheet for XML frontend of subdomain. Colors, fonts, and logo.
4. Update personal information: Name, social security number, bank details
Customer Area:
1. View order status.
2. Change details.
Master Admin Control:
A. Standard reports, financials, and product controls as in Oscommerce, Zencart or Magento.
B. Affiliate control:
1. Affiliate manager similar to Jrox . [url removed, login to view]
2. Must report sales, commissions, control personal info, control subdomain, and commission rates for groups of users and individual users
3. Compute commission for all sales done in subdomain AND from inbound links.
4. Tax, deductions and bonus control for groups of users and individual users.
C. Adserver:
1. Generates Banners within the ecommerce in each subdomain according to identifying tags. For example, Sony advertisement in subdomains with electronics products. Similar to OpenX [url removed, login to view]
2. Load Banner ad image into image database, links and tags
3. Generate reports on impressions and clicks on subdomain.
Developer to maintain SVN and provide demos on production server. After complete the developer may have a future assignment with the project.
