MP3 play and record software for embedded Linux Description We need a Software which can Play MP3 Files stereo and record mono to a file. The Software must be able to switch very quick (without interupt), between play and record mode. It also must provide the ability to record during the play mode. It should offer the Possibility to use a config file which tells the software after how many seconds it should stop or switch to record mode. The config file can be a simple text document where every new line is a stop or record function including the duration of the stop or recording. I think, that the software should be programmed in C or C++. The software must work without GUI as there is no GUI on the embedded Linux. Functions Plays MP3 Files Record MP3 to File Controlled via Script for play and record ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. The gumstix provides a stereo audio in and stereo audio out soundcard (expansion board “Audiostix??) Currently the three programs Aumix, bplay and madplay for sound playing, recording and mixing are shipped with the devices installed embedded linux.
