Configure BIND9 under Knoppix

I need to configure the BIND9.3 nameserver shipped with Knoppix. I am running Knoppix under VMWare under Windows XP. I need to do the following: 1. Add new zones 2. Reload the server The problems I am having is that since Knoppix runs on a CD I am not able to save the changes. I have tried editing the /UNIONFS/etc/bind/named... files, but I cannot save those either. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
