The project involves the design and build of a web application for a healthcare company. The design concepts are complete already and it will be the job of the designer to ensure the images are laid out to specification as well as ensuring consistency is maintained throughout the site. The Website will be written in PHP The Website must pass validation to W3 standards The site must comply with Disability standards, see link [login to view URL] The site must be compatible with all the major browsers, FF, IE Opera, Safari The site will carry RSS feeds from BBC health news website, this must be setup The website will have a CMS from [login to view URL] Hosting The site does not require hosting Graphic Design All images and look and feel is provided, we need the skill of a designer to implement them to the specification of the layout document. Project management You will have a key point of contact for milestones of the project. Basis of award of contract: We are looking for a vendor with good design and coding resources to ensure the technical aspects of the specification are implemented without problems. We expect to be able to communicate initially by telephone and thereafter by email. Project requirements Approximately 15 pages with same header and footer Global Links - 6 Local links ??" pertinent to each page Browser compatible for all popular browsers, the site must also be section 508 compliant USA and UK 101 The Titles of each page will be provided along with each page content. Client Deliverables and Communication Single point of contact will be provided to communicate with the chosen vendor The Client will provide all images and copy The Client will turn around all approvals or feedback requests in approximately 1 business day up to a maximum of 3 business days. The Client will provide details design direction prior to graphic design rounds. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
