IT System Design Manager

We need someone with knowledge of **_THEOS_** Based systems to help us convert to a windows based system, as well as, design an application to track customers, invoices, accounts receivable, recurring, phone calls, service calls, scheduling, and inspections. We are a family based company out of **New Lenox, IL**. We have been using a theos based system with Bold Technologies for our accounting and customer information since the mid 90s. Unfortunately, our software and system has become quite outdated, and it is nearly impossible to find someone with any **_THEOS_** experience. We have over 1000 customers and recently purchased a windows based server for use with our 7 desktop stations. It runs off of **Windows Small Business Server 2003, and has had SQL and Microsoft Exchange** on it. We would like to incorporate this into the application. We have a general idea what it would cost to upgrade through BOLD Technologies, but we would like to get some other options as well. Most of the company is fairly computer challenged so we are looking for a system that will be easy to learn and operate. Thank You, Aaron Veerman Knight Security Alarms Inc Systems Design, IT Manager aveerman@[login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. c) All accounts will need to be transferred from THEOS to the new Windows Program. d) Software must be operating on all computers, and a copy of the instructions and software to be placed on additional computers must be provided. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows Small Business Server 2003, and Windows XP Professional on all of the workstations. The programmer will need to be able to incorporate and transfer all customers from THEOS to the Windows Platform.
