Insert link into frontpage slideshow plug-in WordPress site

On a Wordpress-based site I'm running a plugin that gets the 4 newest articles published and puts them in a slideshow on my frontpage. I really like this plugin, and have adjusted it to my likings concerning how it looks. The plugin is this one: [login to view URL] Unfortunately, it only has the option to link to the article in the comments bar, like this: [login to view URL] Though, I don't want this bar in my slideshow and I would rather have the link in the buttons on the right. It's easy to turn off the bar in the settings, but then ofcourse I wouldn't have a link to the article, making the plugin kind of useless. Because there is already code made to put this in the comment section, I think the only thing you would have to do is copy that into the code of the buttons on the right, though I'm no expert. My budget is not large, so please take this into account whilst bidding.
