Spam Protection Software

Create a program to help users stop spam. The program will put suspected spam into a separate folder. It will evaluate each email that comes in to decide if it is spam. There will be some basic rules buy more importantly it will use user "votes" on what is spam. When a user clicks the button that says this is spam, it will generate a unique fingerprint of the message and inform the central database that this email is spam. Once a certain number of "votes" are collected, that email is considered spam for EVERYONE using the sytem. Here are SOME of the things it needs to do; you need to work with me to create a final list: + Install over the internet + Update patches over the internet + Work with Firewalls (use port 80 & SOAP maybe) + Work as a plugin to Outlook, Outlook Express, and Eudora (maybe) + Create a system to generate fingerprints of email + Communicate with a central server for every email received, send the fingerprint, and based on the response send to the spam folder (or not). Obviously this needs to be done as "tight" as possible to reduce bandwidth. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform All versions of Windows Microsoft Outlook 2000 Microsoft Outlook Express Qualcomm Eudora (maybe)
