I am very well familiar with nginx, apache php-fpm, and can configure it for optimized performance. The issue here is because your php-fpm cannot handle high traffic. Hi. I know what is the problem, it can be unoptimal configuration and your server do not use all the resources or may be it have not enough performance and you will need to optimize your app or some other systems.

This appears to be caused by a dead fpm service. There could be other reasons for it too. I will be able to further troubleshoot this problem once I get access to this server.
