I have got a lot of experience with MySQL & Python and can certainly do this job, however if you could explain the usage scenario a bit it would help me understand a bit more. Would this script run on a RaspberryPi? If yes, which SD card do you want to format? The one that the PI is running off? That requires a bit more clarity. The other possibility I see here is, or example, the script runs on a PC that has an SD card available and it will prepare the card to be installed into a RaspberryPI. This would cost more than I have placed the bid for. However, your description says that it needs to create a filesystem and install MySQL on it, where would the OS reside in this case?
