3) recommend where I should run database from (local machine or server), only one user will be accessing the data. You mean u want a user login and when that user is running the report others will not able able to generate the report? We can parse the csv and insert in to mysql using script. Please let us know more about your reporting need.

I am mysql dba and having more then 5 yrs of experience , We can give privilege to only that IP from where you will connect mysql. Other system can not connect to that server . GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *** TO 'root'@'YOURIP' IDENTIFIED BY PASSWORD 'some_characters' WITH GRANT OPTION

1) create mysql database from CSV file, approx 300,000 rows and 150 columns. ~200mb file. ok when you supply me the csv i will convert it into mysql no problem how many records or size it has. 2) create 3 standard reports I can run in workbench or other reporting software can you explain more about reports and show me data 3) recommend where I should run database from (local machine or server), only one user will be accessing the data. it depends if you want to run it all over the world from multiple location then you need to buy hosting if you want to run it for yourself just then i will place the script on your local system thanks

Hi. I can write a script that reads the csv file and uploads it's content to MySQL database. The reports will be created at your instructions. As for question number 3 I think that you should work with a server for many reasons. Security reasons, back-up and maintenance, upgrade to more users, etc. Please send me more details so I can finish this task with best results. I can work up to 6 hours per day, Thanks.
