We have a completed app with backend. MeaN stack, with Titanium SDK and Alloy MVC framework.
We host node server on our own Instance/Droplet (digital ocean) as well as mongodb.
The app is built only for iOS and is on AppStore.
We are in need of Titanium expert with Alloy experience. Our app has a couple bugs and needs features completed:
- Need code review and testing to isolate what appears to be a random "lock up" or "cabinet freeze". Where part of the app does not respond after adding new devices (a process where user creates new data) when operating in poor network signal. I think this issue is in the Sync and Cluster controllers. We most likely need to adjust the data model a little to handle even smaller data posts. Even 1 push can be 500KB currently. Our app needs to handle 200+ devices = 400+ data pushes to the server. In some cases, during Inspections, the push would have multiple photos. Some compression is attempted by TI before sending.
- "DONE" button for Inspections. Inspections in our app is a process that our user (employee) inspects a device in the field. Example of devices: smoke alarms (scan QR code and take pictures). These inspections occur at multiple intervals during the year and we need to stop Inspection "Annual" to perform Inspection "Quarterly". I will communicate where in the app and in the Inspection controller/model.
I have the codebase (BitBucket email will be required) to provide and time to go over with you the controllers and models where I believe the issues exist.
Attaching some examples of user flow (adding inventory/devices) and code controllers
