Developing an ios(iphone, ipad) app

This project is for developing an ios app which counterpart android version is already on the google market. Brief description about this project: This app is a simple ios app that communicates with the server and shows some information about the stock price in Korea. You can see the android version of this app at google store with the keyword “Bigdata trader” by teheranfinance and play with it. (Please note the web site and app is in Korean language. However, the knowledge of Korean language is not necessary for doing this project.) You can tell the android app is a simple “webview” based app. It just shows web pages. Everything complex is done in the server side. No data analysis or manipulation is necessary for this app development. Also, the server side will not be changed as well. Webview based app is not acceptable in apple store. Therefore, the main goal of this project is build an ios version of “Bigdata Trader” app while minimize the use of webview component, and upload to apple store successfully. Instead of using webview, the new app will retrieve the web page, parse the page, and draw on ios app. The web pages of Bigdata Trader are standardized and simple, thus it will be easy to parse. Most of pages are tables containing ranked stock items. There are some pages which is not the standardized format. Those pages will be shown with webview or just removed in the new app. Detailed design issue, mainly the selection of anchors and deploying them on the main window, need to be discussed later. The android app consists three types of pages, 1) the main page (see figure 1), 2) ranking pages (see figure 2), and 3) extra information pages (see figure 3). The main page consists a lot of anchors that lead to ranking pages. Each anchor of the main page covers a topic about stock, such as, for example “most fluctuate stocks”. If the user click an anchor in the main page, it shows the ranked list of stocks in regarding to the topic. In the new app, the main page will be implemented as the main window, and the anchors will be buttons on the windows to handle the event that shows the information extracted from the linked ranking page. You need to design the main window. Another type of page is extra information pages which is not ether the main page or ranking pages, such as “about” or “help” pages. Because the parsing of these pages are complex, we will leave these page to use webview component in the new app. Once the user launch the app, it firstly crawl an address file from the server, say “[login to view URL]”, which include some arbitrary string given by the author, say “12345678”. This string will be a part of URL each anchors is linked. For example, if the user click a button about “TOPIC1” from the main window, the app crawls the page “[login to view URL]” and parse the table and display the information. The month value can be selected using a radio button or something. This app will be “in app purchase” app. While the app is in free version mode, the entry from the “[login to view URL]” is always “000000” which is not real entry in the file. Once the app is purchased, it will read the actual string from the [login to view URL] file. Requirements: 1) Use the “Swift”and Xcode for development. 2) Nice apple quality design. 3) Icons and flash images will be provided (the same images used for android version). 4) The app should runs on iphone 5, 6, ipad, and ipad retina. 5) Successful upload to apple store (40% of project fee will be hold until store uploading done) 6) Detailed requirements can be changed or added during project Deliverables: 1) Complete swift project which can be loaded from xcode. You may need to remotely connect to my pc to load the project in xcode. The project should be compiled successfully. 2) All images and artwork resources in editable format
