We have an existing Microsoft SQL Server database (used in multiple locations, mainly on MSSQL 2012 and 2017) which for the most part performs well but there are a few bottlenecks we would like an expert to look into. These are mainly views built on top of other views, and somewhere we are (I think) being inefficient in how these views are built.
We would do this project by giving you RDP access to an isolated AWS instance running a copy of our database that you can review. Alternatively we could open up the SQL ports so you could use tools on your local hardward, but you would need a fixed IP address to do this.
You should be an expert SQL Developer and skilled in optimisation and view and query design. If this project works well there could well be a possibility of a retained position and / or regular work.
When replying, please indicate your level of experience with MSSQL. Oracle and MySQL are of course useful but you must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server and the associated tools.
