Math Content Developer - Assistant Team Leader - Middle School Common Core Math Academy LLC is a U.S based education technology startup that’s looking for a first-class assistant team leader to join our content development team. We are looking to develop (from scratch) our 7th and 8th Grade Common Core Math courses. This will be a 10-12 week project with the possibility to extend. The role will involve: * Creating questions and solutions using templates prepared by your team leader. * Reviewing and accepting questions and solutions prepared by members of your team. * Communicating with the team leader, ensuring that standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have: * A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mathematics or a closely related subject. * Knowledge and experience in teaching 7th and 8th Grade math according to the common core standards. * Experience in teaching mathematics and a genuine interest in teaching and learning is essential. * A strong track record of engaging and/or creative writing in the educational sector, preferably at the middle-school level. * English language at a native or bilingual level. Desirable (but non-essential) skills include: * Expertize in Latex and TikZ. Deliverables will be set on a weekly basis with deadlines. All work can be done remotely. This is an ideal opportunity for any suitably qualified middle school instructors that would like the opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment from the comfort of their own homes during the summer break. For this role, we’re looking for a commitment of 20-40 hours per week
