There are datasets which are extracted for occupancy detection. We could train object detection networks (Yolov3 is more appropriate since you want a real time system) by utilizing these datasets. ** Parking detection and management system ** REQUIREMENTS: 1. Parking detection system 2. Revenue model 3. Smart parking with different signals for parked, warning and space available slots 4. Map to redirect the driver inside the place TECHNOLOGY USED: 1. Smart Spot Gateway HOW DOES IT WORK: 1. A sensor system will be integrated into the place that will keep track of al space in slots 2. All the information including signs for parking space available, the warning will be stored into the sensor 3. Drivers will be having an app installed in their smartphones that will catch the signals via the cloud about space available 4. Drivers will also be navigated to the free slot 5. On parking, the notification will be sent to admin software with the information about driver and payment status 6. On parking Completed driver will be asked about a payment token, when he accepts it and process the payment then he will be updated with a message on his notification tray about the parking information with time allowed 7. The same info will be sent to admin using cloud 8. If time is exceeded and the driver is not back then admin can update the driver with some extra charge or this process can also be automated based on the sensor DEVICES USED: 1.
