Only Ukraine, Cherkasy: junior or mid Java developer to develop Collaboration Platform

Mid or junior Java developer needed to join a team creating Digital Collaboration Platform for growing teams and large enterprises. We are agile Java shop and actively using Javascript for front-end. A developer will join Product Team and will work on our platform extensions and integrations with other amazing services and apps (such as Google, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, Amazon and so on). Requirements: experience in Java core 2+ years, understanding of Collections framework, exceptions handling, Java I/O, JDBC and JPA/Hibernate; hands on Javascript/jQuery with understanding of HTML/CSS and how web-server works; understanding of REST- services principles; friendly to XML, JSON and system shell (Unix-based and Windows). Will be a plus: experience with cloud services such as Amazon, Google or Microsoft Azure; experience with databases MySQL, Postgres or Oracle; experience in creating of REST-services, Websockets or CometD communications; NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Casandra; skills in using Maven and Git/SVN tools; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project organization tools (issue tracker, code-review, support forums etc). Preferences will have developers from Ukraine, especially from Cherkasy city, as we'd like to meet eventually to talk face-to-face and share a cup of tea or glass of beer :) This project is an ongoing work with hourly payment, morning check-up and weekly reports. This position can grow to a permanent one after few months. Work time flexible in EEST timezone (Kiev time). Exact work time will be discussed personally.
