TrackMeNot ([login to view URL]) is a Firefox browser extension that makes random search queries in the background, obfuscating your digital footprint.

The source is available on Github: [login to view URL] and I believe that it is Javascript.

There are two lists of search queries that are embedded in the software, and this has led to the software losing relevence with time.

I propose that the embedded search queries be transferred to external text files that can be maintained by the end user.

The software would have to read these files at runtime. Additionally, it would be useful if the software could cope with large text files containing many potential search queries without running into memory problems.

The resulting software would be open source, on Github, and distributed for free.
