Add some logic to a website written in Classic ASP

Hi, I have 15+ years of experience. 90% of the job done so far are in Classic ASP. As you have explained, when user logged in it will check the php error log fie and if exists the icon color needs to get change and a provision to show the error content to user. If user want to remove the file, it should get deleted. Now my queries are : 1) Does the file deletion permission is set to the folder from the http? Also does the log file name generated dynamically or it is always same i.e. Php-errors.log. 2) I believe, there may be multiple users. Do we need to perform the same process for all the users? Hello, I’ve read through your description. I’d be happy to do the development on your server. The icon looks like an image and I’ll need a similar image that’s red so I can display that if the PHP error logs exist. I can make this red image myself if you prefer. I’ll need to look at your menu code so I can understand how to add an additional item to it – should be simple. The modal window option sounds good – looks like you’re using jQuery for this. This bid includes: 1 - Updating the "after login" page, to check if there is any log file (using FileSystemObject); If true, chenge the icon to red; 2 - On clicking the icon (if red), show the new menu item "View PHP Errors"; 3 - On clicking the View PHP Error, show (in a modal window) the file list, with option to VIEW the file and to DELETE it. If the last file was deleted, return to "no red icon" option.

I understand what you need , If php error log file exists so icon changed to red and user can check error log. Also you need to add new menu in user icon drop down where user can click and see errors. Regards

As i was reading your requirements i didn't understand one line you have mentioned in pdf that is 'Clicking this icon brings up a menu of options, along with some internal debug info.' can you explain me what Internal Debug info you are suppose to display in menu.
