Currently, when users click on a pdf file link, the pdf file opens and that's it.
Instead,
I would like to change all of the pdf links to html links.
When a user clicks on the new html link, a page will open with the pdf file included as an object. Information from the pdf file metadata, the file name and other content will be used to create the html page.
The html files will have to be created dynamically the FIRST TIME and then reside on the server for future access. This part is important as I don't want these requests to continue on the server if the file has already been created once.
If future updates are necessary (e.g. new Analytics code), then updating the files will be as easy as deleting the old ones off the server to trigger new dynamic creation events.
I'm not sure how well I described this, so feel free to ask questions.
