Extra notes: (I am a third year Computer Science student, so I have knowledge and can also partake in making this)
I want to create a programme that will record a specific application. I want the recording to automatically start when the application starts, and ends when the application stops running. And I want the video to be automatically saved too. I want this programme to be super light-weight.
I want the programme to record League of Legends gameplay. Also, using the League of Legnds API, for it listen to the logs and note down the time of when something notable happens (kills, deaths, etc). I then want the recorded footage of the game to automatically edit, to only keep the notable moments and delete the rest.
So if we record 20 minutes of gameplay, and only one notable moment happens, then to delete all of the footage except for the 10 seconds of the notable moment and save that.
This project is in a few parts:
1. Record specific applications, so League of Legends for this case. The programme to automatically record, as long as the programme is downloaded. Like it runs in the background. Doesn't require the user to press "record".
2. To use the League of Legends API to take note of when notable moments occur. Like "2 mins 23 seconds there was a double-kill".
3. After the recording stops, to auto-edit the footage and only keep the time that was noted (10-15 seconds each).
Perhaps I haven't explained too clearly; ask me if you are a little unsure about anything.
If you enjoy video games, preferably League of Legends, and think you can do this then please contact me.
