I have a small Web Application built on Java (Spring Boot) and used Virus Total API. Basically using this web application i can give any URL and it uses Public API (Virus Total) to search the URL for malware/malicious content and returns back the result on the UI. Public API details are mentioned here: [login to view URL] Problem: It works perfectly for all the URLs such as: [login to view URL] (or) [login to view URL] (or) [login to view URL] but failing for URLs such as : 1. [login to view URL] 2. [login to view URL] 3. [login to view URL] 4. [login to view URL] Observation: If any URL is not working(invalid URL) on WebApplication -> I tried searching the same on Virus Total Website -> It gives me result ->Comes back to the Web Application and search the same URL again -> Gets the result I am sure that there is something very timid which i missed within the code which is causing such issue but it's taking a lot of my time to debug and i am not able to figure it out, if anyone can help me debug and fix this it would be very helpful. Attached is the code snippet.
