We have an issue with a script that we have developed in the past to read the metadata from the NX software and send us emails. NX is a software designed to use the Internet as a communications medium to deliver Business Wire news in a simultaneous broadcast to its media customers. NewsML with XHTML mark-up is the primary data transmission format that contains the news content and metadata items. HTML pre-formatted files are also available The issue started after we shifted recently to a new data server, so it could be some port settings with the new server. Hi it is not a port problem because you are the client for NX. If nx is moved to another server, it can be a port problem. Mostly you devloped for PHP 5 and the PHP 7 has depricated many common functions like "split" which is used in projects like yours. Most server reject depricated functions for security.
