Hi
Thanks for reviewing my project.
Project is to decomplie executable Jar file so I can retrieve the source files/code.
Background to project: I've spent several months developing java based desktop software and in that time, I've had to hire three different programmers due to skills issue. The last programmer refused to upload the updated source code despite the fact that he signed statement of works and NDA with copyright clause and clause to upload the final source code. I've had to instruct my lawyers to remind him that he signed NDA and copyright agreement and that if he breaks copyright terms he will be sued.
Instead of going back to square one, I want to engage programer to decompile the executable Jar file so I can make final changes to complete the software.
Note: I've search the internet on how to decompile executable Jar File but I don't have time to carry out the task, even though it appears to be relatively simple.
My max budget is $100.00.
I only hire experienced / skilled programmers because you tend to get what you pay for. If you cannot deliver on this project, please, please, please,..... don't bid and waste our valuable time.
Thanks again for reviewing my project.
hi! i can decompile your jar file to java. i have done this several times. i wish there isnt any special library but thats not a prob as the entire code will be in java
Hi,
I have worked on such tasks to get the source our of a jar file. Note, we can retrieve almost 80% of the original source code as in few cases the decompile may not work due to irreversible translation of compilation. Also if the source files are obfuscated then the resulted source file will be difficult to read. Still we get the source but due to the naming of variables in non-readable format, it will be difficult to read. I have explained all possibilities to avoid last minute surprise and disappointments. I have debugged java code up to byte code level and have created custom compiler to generate byte code and so having good knowledge in this domain.
Thanks!
i think it is very simple.
Before you award me the bid, PM me so i can try to decompile the jar. If it works you award me the project and pay me.
I don't want to waste either of our times.
