Native mac app for freelancer service

With the Freelancer API - they have a service call background removal.

I want to make a mac app which sits in the status bar up near the time, and lets me drag and drop in an image and returns the image from the service.

- Login with freelancer account on first launch/install

- Always have the status bar icon next to the wifi, bluetooth, etc

- When you click on the icon, a little bubble appears with a drag and drop region

- Dropping in an image automatically buys the service

- Polls the chat for any uploaded files

- Shows notification to download the image when done

Here is the service:

I guess native would be better, but would also be happy with javascript wrapped in electron or similar.
