Hello and hope you are well! My name is LL and I am the founder of a small Event Planning company DF Events, located based in NYC. We work with event venues in NYC, LA, Miami and Las Vegas. We plan events, such as corporate parties, conferences, birthdays, dinners, weddings, anniversaries, sweet 16's, Bar Mitzvahs launches, media, and so on. Exceptional customer service to Clients is our business. More info: dfeventsnyc.com. I'm looking for Virtual Assistant who can help during the week, an average of 3-4 hrs/day, on a long-term basis. We require someone with great customer service skills, specifically making outbound calls and getting the information we need and to increase sales results. Timeliness are important to the job's responsibility. We will train on you on all the job duties. Ideally, the candidate has experience with sales and marketing; heavy outbound calls, customer service and administration. MS Excel & Word; Adobe Acrobat's PDFs are a MUST; and experience with Google Docs as a plus. 3 Main Job Duties Include: o 1. Outbound Calls o Main job function (60% of the job): call leads to get important event information o Follow Up calls/emails to o Take call and email notes from communications to input into MS excel and/or google docs o Manage call documents o Online lead generation o [after 3-4 months] education Clients in services and our venues o 2. Administrative o Conduct research on prospective customers, cold and/or warm leads o Assist with sales reports o Work on administrative tasks: file management, calendar management o 3. Other Duties: o Participate in 1-2-week phone calls to review leads o Miscellanies tasks duties as they are assigned o [Possible Advanced Duties with increased Compensation Per Hour] o updating WordPress website, assisting with blog/blog writing, assisting with updates on social media; assisting with asset creation for digital marketing; researching top blogs and influencers in the event industry Qualities Needed to be Successful: o EXCELLENT speaking, comprehension and writing ability in English o MUST speak great English well o Problem solving abilities o Great care for customer service; passionate about helping others o Listening skills o Data Entry o Taking notes with GREAT attention to DETAILS o Time and project management, attention to deadlines and due dates o Google Research experience o A PLUS (not required): o Blogging and writing articles o Social media management o Content creation If you are a good fit, there will be a 4-week trial period. There is room to grow in this position and increase your hourly payment within 4 months with bonuses. Hi Louie, I'd like to express my interest on becoming your virtual assistant. Given my six years of experience as a customer service specialist in call centers here in the Philippines, I am already well-accustomed to talking to clients/customers over the phone. I worked for inbound and outbound account so I will say I am a good fit for this role. Flexibility is my key strength. On a personal note, you can say that I am an orange because I am vibrant, cheerful, full of excitement and adventure. I can work at $10/hour and I am available to work anytime from 8AM-11PM EST. I chose to become a virtual assistant because of the privileged of being able to work at the comfort of my own home. Greetings Louie! Happy to place a bid on your project. I'm gonna be straight with you right away - I don't usually work as VA, so you might want to consider someone else on this position. I do assistance as a web expert, wordpress developer/designer and digital marketer. But orange is my favourite colour, so kindly read my application prior to your decision: 1. $13/hour would do perfectly. 2. 8am - 4pm EST (able to stay up longer if required). 3. I've always liked assisting people with various tasks. It helps me learn quicker and from my perspective the symbiosis of two productive people can make more impact/difference than one person. I enjoy the feeling of achievement of long-term tasks. 1. I do speak and write fluent English. Sometimes people confuse me with native speaker (I'm flattered by that, obviously, but never really take them seriously). 2. My main concern lies within the calling system. I'm not quite sure if it's profitable to call to US from another country. Other questions I have will perhaps be covered with the candidate you choose anyway. 3.
