We want a picture/painting of a family tree done, in the form of an actual tree, with grandparents at the base of the tree, and family members on the branches. We want to be able to supply the artist with pictures of each member of the family and a description of their character, interests, and hobbies (25 people including grandparents). We want the artist to be able to capture the general likeness of each person in a fun way which also shows something of their character/interests/hobbies, without it having to be true to life. Happy for cartoon/caricature type likeness.
Attached is a pic of the type of thing we're looking for, but we're looking for slightly more muted colour tones, and a bit finer art. We still want it to be fun and 'alive', but not as 'loud' as, and a little more refined than, the attached example.
We're not stuck on any particular medium (oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, etc). We're more interested in getting the 'feel' of the painting, and we are hoping that it can be kept to a size between the size of an A3 and an A2 sheet of paper.
