I have some Javascript code that displays "annotations". These are things that can be drawn on an HTML element. There are a few kind of annotations and they are described along with the full specification of each, in this document.

The existing code is attached to this project. It should make developing this a lot easier. You don't have to use that code but it illustrates how the annotations should work. In the example project, click the green pen to create a stamp - then click on the document to drop it. The sample only shows how to create stamps not the other kinds of annotations.
