Hello there, my name is Borna and I am professional software engineer with more than 5 years of experience. I would enjoy working on this project as I have already worked with various gambling sites, mostly NBA over/under bets. Here are some of the sites: bet365, betsson/betfair, marathonbet, 5dimes, tonybet. On some of those sites I used API and some I scraped(robot parse the HTML), so we don't really need an API to accomplish this. The biggest problem about this project is connecting the names of each player from one bookmaker to another. For this problem I like to use Jaro-Winkler algorithm, which will give me the distance of players name so I can know that they are the same person. For this project I will write an object-oriented cross platform app (PHP, C# (Windows only) or Python) which will give us (developers) an easy way to add new bookmakers, which I think is the most chalanging and most important thing of this project.
