I need a new website. I need you to design and build it. The target system is a web portal. The target users are the employees of a training company that provides training to multiple client companies, and the employees of the client companies that use the training company's services. Training courses are delivered either as part of a change project or as BAU (business as usual) i.e. as part of business operation and need to be managed separately. The training company will need to define training courses, training venues, schedule training events, specify resources needed for the event, maintain list trainers and their availability schedule, book delegates on training courses, award certification to delegates (pdf), maintain client user data, bulk user import/export. Other status data to be maintained are projects and project phases. Client user data includes user departments, department managers, user teams, team leaders, job title, current/archived user flag. Delegates should be able to view courses available, register for a course, view courses that have taken, view certificates of completion awarded (pdf), provide feedback on courses completed. The system should be able to send email confirmation for account setup, course registration, certificates awarded. Send emails/Sms to delegates to remind them of imminent enrolled courses, and email/sms notification of changes to the course and asking them to confirm their attendance. Users should be able to register to create an account on the site. User accounts need approval and email verification. Users should specify the client organisation, team, department, job title, contact details e.g. phone, work email. There portal should also provide functionality to maintain a system access register, ie. a list delegates that have completed all the required courses necessary to get access to the system they are being trained for (not the portal itself). The scheduled course view for delegate and course administrators should be different. The course admin view should have an extra admin tab that shows resources required, including attendee type and count, list and status of delegates booked, allow overbooking by a specified number.
