Senior Graphic Designer for a new Beach Club concept

This position is on a freelance basis until June 2021, and subsequently full time, based in Phuket from July 2021. BACKGROUND. Opening in Q3 2021, in Phuket, Thailand, YONA is a one of a kind floating beach club and decadent oasis in the heart of paradise, built on a 1000m2 state of the art boat, with a capacity of up to 500 guests. Our guests will be able to transcend any moment in time and enjoy the best day of their lives, relishing the 160m2 infinity pool, private cabanas, daybeds, restaurant, dedicated kids playground, water activities, DJ acts and concept parties. It will be a uniquely extraordinary backdrop to the most special celebrations, and is a versatile space and the perfect canvas for private events. Our team will deliver uncomplicated excellence, and it’s mission is to conceive, create, and share an exceptional hospitality and lifestyle experience whilst building an internationally renowned Brand. OVERVIEW. We are looking for a cross-cultural visual artist who will lead the further development and refinement of the brand, deliver and direct the production of all visual and graphic assets and formulating content and promotional resources, whilst working hand in hand with the Project, Sales and Marketing teams throughout the pre-opening and post-opening periods of the Beach Club. The ideal candidate should have a roaring creative talent, be adaptable, enthusiastic, able to work with several team leaders with defined deadlines, and be able to master the whole Adobe Creative Suite. A passion for photography, videography, social media and digital marketing is preferred. Previous experience working in hospitality and entertainment are a big plus. This role reports to the Marketing & Sales Directors, and the General Manager.
