Front End / UI Developer Wanted

Technical Responsibilities: Conceptualizing, mock up, and implement new and updated designs for web application Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Responsible for all final CSS and HTML implementations. Proven experience with image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / TFS / SVN}} Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3,client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, HTML and CSS. about 80% of the work involved will be building websites in standards compliant HTML, and CSS, so must be well versed in both. Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX Working closely with the product managers on generating and refining designs that are not only beautiful but also easy to use and intuitive. Work with designers to create site-wide refreshes, landing pages, email templates, then implement them Required Skills and Qualifications: 5-10 years commercial experience in frontend development, delivering high-quality and high performance web applications JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, Cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's Desired Soft Skills: A motivated self starter with "Can-do" attitude To be able to work collaboratively in a small but growing team Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal Attention to detail Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines.
