Hello! Apart from being a graphic designer specialized in fiction and non-fiction books, I am also a huge Harry Potter fan (does a Harry Potter tattoo count??)!! I have worked on book designs for the past five years (even though I am just now starting to work on Freelancer) and you can check my portfolio here to see my level of expertise. I have worked directly with authors on their self published projects and for publishing companies. The way I work is as follows: I provide the client with two different initial cover designs, after which the client chooses one and we work towards getting to the best book cover for the author. For this project I propose a minimalist design with a Harry Potter themed golden frame (or maybe different editions to match each house colouring - just a thought) with the Harry Potter font, and a more classic feel.
