Desktop Pub Design Layout /Freelance Designer Needed

Our company is a new publishing media firm. Our firm is in the process of launching new magazine publications. We are looking for a freelance designer to do all in-house design development for our design department. Job Duties of the Designer: Design each magazine text brand logo the magazines name logo. Design an effective magazine covers for each magazine publication. Design the layout of each magazine publications to editors specifics, this means photo layout, design illustrations, and article theme designs. Design the entire magazine from cover to cover with publishers specifications before the magazines go to the printer. Design layout including advertising ads submitted by advertisers. Software to be used: We prefer the designer to use the software best software that will produce the best image layout including for publishing and printing. These are: Adobe In Design Adobe Illustrations Adobe Quarks Photoshop Etc. We need to work with designers who truly understand what we are looking for in design. Cover design is the most important aspect of the design process. This is a key between marketing, rich design, and advertising. You must have key details and ideas of magazine cover design and the following keys are important: Photo Placement in the cover with brand image and cover story marketing. Understand how to design text headlines on the magazine covers using different fonts colors, and arrangements. (Very important) Design effective attractive cover designs. *Note: I have provided 3 sample of magazine covers, which shows the taste, the quality, and the marketability of a national focused magazine. Its important to study this very well. As you will be judged on this key aspect.* Sample of Design Features: Since this is a large project we do require any designer who would like this opportunity to work with us on this project we need for you to please provided us with a sample design of a Magazine Cover. Time Frame of Development, Payment Terms, And Contract Terms: This freelance job will be a contract job. The chosen designer will need have to sign a NDA/ and Terms of Development & delivery. WE ARE looking at a design time frame of 60 days or less for design, layout design, and proof design of all Twenty -Two (22) magazine designs.
