We are encountering self referrals in our Google Analytics tracking. We have 2 domains for our online store: [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and checkout.domain2.com. Users enter our website and browse on [login to view URL] and then get transferred to [login to view URL] to checkout in our store. Additionally, the checkout process forwards them to checkout.domain2.com.
We want to remove all self-referrals so that we can track the actual referring site when users checkout.
We have tried following several guides and different topics online but still cannot seem to eliminate this issue. Should be a relatively quick fix for someone familiar with multiple domain tracking in GA.
