The web app presents the user with an opportunity to make a profit by purchasing a random item on eBay for sale via “Buy it now”. The opportunity appears on the screen with the title, large image, detailed description and “Buy it now” price presented to the user. At the side of the screen, the last 5 similar sold items are listed also including a small thumbnail image, title and
actual sold price. The potential profit is also calculated and displayed in large text. The potential profit is calculated by taking the average of the last 5 similar sold items and subtracting the “Buy it now” price from the opportunity that is currently presented. The user can decide to take the current opportunity or move to the next one. The web app will them present the user with another opportunity by repeating the process. The web app should be accessible via desktop, tablet and mobile.
