Contractor will transcribe about 1,000 common word descriptions in two Acrobat fillable forms into two Excel workbook preformatted lists. To do this the contractor will have to match the Acrobat alphanumeric field names with the corresponding field description. For example, a form entry field shows the #5 field as "a4aa" which pertains to a text box for a field for "Street Address." You will have to write "5" and then "Street Address" next to the existing entry for "a4aa". In most cases you will have to include a series of words corresponding to a hierarchy of field locations. I have completed a number of entries and included the conventions I want you to use. For example:
A. Location and Description of Property>6. State and Zip Code
Once I got the hang of the process, I was able to do each entry in about 10-15 seconds, or about 4-5 per minute including mousing. This means the 1000 entries should take between 3 and 4 hours for a skilled data entry person with English typing skills, less if you're clever and can find technical shortcuts.
I will send the two Excel files, and two Word documents with screen shots for the fillable forms. I will also include the Acrobat forms themselves, but unless you have Acrobat's Edit Form capability you won't be able to see the field alphanumeric names or the field sequence order. Extra consideration will go to those who know xml and VBA, since I expect to incorporate the forms into a website and import completed form data into a database.
Someone familiar with English Language forms and can read English well will be a better candidate than a person who is not so fluent in English or with working on an Excel worksheet. I expect to have a chat exchange before awarding the project so the contractor knows exactly what I want. That way neither of us will be disappointed.
