PROJECT The candidate will be responsible for conducting excel-based company and industry analysis by utilizing either the S&P Capital IQ or the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) databases. Your personal access to S&P Capital IQ or WRDS is required in order to complete the project. This could be a fixed-price or variable-rate project depending on preference and database used for project. Based on speed and quality of work, there is the potential for several successive projects of the same genre. RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize provided company GVKEY identifiers and target dates to gather past financial and performance data from Capital IQ or WRDS, * If using Capital IQ, record data in the provided excel template and provide (via excel plug-in) the formulas used * If using WRDS, provided the SAS data files plus the applicable SAS code for data extraction QUALIFICATIONS Masters/PHD degree in Finance or equivalent experience Expert level financial analysis and modeling experience Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or SAS Personal access to S&P Capital IQ or WRDS
