I come from a small European country, Serbia, but I have good education, especially in English. I have been learning and then teaching it for quite a while and I boast a BA degree in English language and literature obtained at a prestigious university in the capital of my country. I don't think most people have ever thought about how to introduce a word like "the" to a child before, but this sounds like a very fun project that I would very much like to complete for you. I assume, given the $15/book guideline, that the project as listed is for a sampling of two books? I could have these to you very quickly. However, while I intend to work fast, I also intend to be thorough. For instance, the word "look" on the word list you posted should be established not only in its verb form but also as a noun. I believe that, as long as the images support it, this can be done in a way that teaches children while also allowing them to enjoy a fun and entertaining story.

Having just finished my first romance novel I have ample time to spend on a new project. I love writing, creating fun scenarios and interesting landscapes. Being a mom and full time aunt to 7 kids, I have a mountain of experience with all childhood devdevelopment stages. Learning to read is one of the most important milestones in a child's life, and it should be fun! I would love to take on this project.
