Build a Color Detection code in MATLAB

I am building a drone that has to have image processing capabilities. The drone is almost there but will have no time to work on the image processing. The MATLAB code will have to work so that it can connect to an IP camera address and furtherly detect different colored cars depending on the input that the user wants. For instance, if the user wants to use the drone to locate a red car in a parking lot, the user can choose to look for the color red and all red cars in the parking lot would be detected and a bounding box will be placed where those cars are and give the coordinates within the image. The code should be able to work with multiple colors such as red, blue, green, black, white, silver, grey, orange, yellow, gold, brown, tan. And at least a couple of shade variations of those colors. Furthermore it should give the user an easy way to edit what color the code will be looking for.
