Hi , The propose of project is to implement a control algorithm for a robot arm using only camera data as input to guide robot arm motion. Potential applications of this technique include parts assembly or surface inspection in automated manufacturing environment. The object or part can be simplified to a single coloured ball or cube for grasping. Or it can be a plane surface labelled with some markers, to guide the robot arm. The robot will need to keep moving towards the target, using the algorithm. The computer vision part can be simplified and can use algorithm from OpenCV or Matlab. The software can be applied using Matlab. Please see the file for more info.
