I have a list of over 100,000 SKUs in an excel file which I need information on. The information needed is "Category of Item", "Length", "Width", "Height", "Cubic Feet", "Square Feet", and "Weight". I have filled out some of the data already so you can get an understanding what I am looking for.
All of these SKUs are auto parts/car accessories/lubricants. It will require extensive googling of the SKU to determine the dimensions of the product as this information isn't readily available on the internet.
The main two websites you can use are [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] which for maybe 70% of items, it will have it with the dimensions. However for the items you cannot find the dimensions for, I will require you to use common sense and fill in the blanks. For example if the item is a "rebound rubber" and the SKU is not producing any dimensions data, you will have to research what the dimensions normally are for a rebound rubber, or use common sense and look on images and determine that it is about x feet in length, width and height. Also there are times where the dimensions you find are not for just one unit of the product, but perhaps 10, which is of no use for us, so you will have to use common sense again to determine what the dimensions for just one unit of the product is. Also there are times where the dimensions given are just completely incorrect, for example, an oil filter which it states is 2 feet tall, that is impossible, so you will need to be sharp when typing up this information. Also the dimensions may come in inches, cm, or some other metric, you will need to put the information in feet in this excel file by doing a conversion.
You determine the cubic feet by multiplying the length x width x height. You determine the square feet by multiplying length x width.
Overall this project is tedious, requires large quantities of internet research, and high levels of common sense.
