Simple user interface with simple backend application (c++ or pyhon, c++ preferred)

Hello. This is a simple user interface with 3 buttons for a product with touchscreen. We plan adding features in future. Looking for a detailed-oriented professional, who could develop, document and deliver excellent code to build a strong relationship for ongoing projects. Description: we have 2 boards: 1. arduino 1 and 2. raspberry PI, connected using serial interface. The arduino 1 has a software in C which receives commands in a string. The arduino UNO execute this commands but also streams a string with some values. The project is about writing an application on the raspberry side, that reads this string and shows the values in a touch screen. Also, this application has to use this data as variables to be used in a couple of routines. These routines are "small programs" that execute a series of commands to accomplish a task.
